Thanks to Heather Kelly at Edited to Within an Inch of my Life for profiling me yesterday in her Friday Feature series.
It was so much fun to answer everyone's questions at Heather's blog -- if you haven't had a chance to check it out, please stop over at Heather's and review all the past writers featured in her archives. She has a great resource of authors in various stages of publication.
Also, I'm excited to have won the fabulous blogosphere game, WIBIJ this week. Hosted by the aforementioned Heather Kelly, Jonathan Arnston, and Tina Laurel Lee, this is a great way to get to know children's writers by racing to solve clues hidden in their blogs. (And, just to be clear, my interview w/ Heather was completed before the game this week!)
My winning medal is now proudly displayed in my sidebar.
It's been a busy week for me in the blogosphere, and now I need to concentrate on writing. I'll be trying to unplug this week and give myself some room to finish the revisions on my WIP.

Great interview and congrats on your success! (go huskies)
Oh my gosh! I have to get over to Heather's!
BRILLIANT interview over at Heathers - just read it and left a comment. It was great getting to know you better friend!
Thanks you CQG, Anita, and Ann Marie! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
It was a great interview!
Kris, can you please email me about the book prize from WIBIJ? I tried emailing you, but I received a FAILED TO DELIVER notice, like five times. jonarntson at gmail dot com
I really enjoyed reading your interview. I can also relate to sending out things waaay too early! But those early rejections help us -- gives us the choice to give up or get better.
I'm also impressed that you have 2 published books & all that writing you've done in the past has obviously paid off. : )
J - I emailed you privately. Thanks!
Lisa - The early rejects do help, though at the time I never thought I'd say that!
Actually, I only have one published book thus far - though I do have a three completed nonfiction books coming out next year. Practice does wonders for the craft!
Kris--thanks for being such a gracious host at the interview--what fun! And congrats on the WIBIJ win. Sometimes it should be all about YOU!!
