As someone writing a contemporary sports novel with a touch of romance for girls, I've been asked to compare my book to other books out there. I'll hopefully be adding to this list, but I wanted to start a resource for people looking for books about girls who are athletes.
This is another great resource -- it's not just about girl athletes, but it's a great list: YA Sports Fiction List.
Thanks to Colleen Mondor at the Chasing Ray blog for some of these titles.
