Some of you have asked me where you can get Golfer Girl magazine. I just heard from the editor (Claude Hooton), who says:
"Unfortunately, we have had difficulty with getting distribution at the news stands due to our small size. We do sell individual copies of the magazine for the cover price + $1.85 shipping." http://www.golfergirlmagazine.com
So, if you're really interested in checking it out (thanks, Gary for checking out THREE news stands for me!!!) - you can get it directly from them.
Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement! I'm trying to figure out a way to post the story somewhere so people can read it online. I'll keep you updated!

Golfer Girl hits newstands!
Not sure if it's actually ON news stands (what is a news stand these days, anyway?) - but I just got my copies of Golfer Girl. The Knight in Tan Khakis is featured! It's so cool to see my work in print! It looks great - I'm very happy with the way it was formatted!
If anyone has a chance to see it, I'd love to hear your feedback!

New news - Golfer Girl
I've just heard that a story of mine has been accepted for publication by Golfer Girl magazine. For those of you who don't know - I used to be quite a golfer back in the day... If you're interested, the link to the magazine is http://www.golfergirlmagazine.com/. My story hasn't been published yet, though.
It's a teen magazine targeted at girls who follow the game of golf. I have a great story about being a teenager and trying to compete in a male dominated sport. As one can imagine, angst and embarrassment ensue.
It's not a paid market, but another way to get my work out there! I really love this story, so I'm very excited!
